How to apply

Do you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Humanities, Social Sciences or Public Health? Or do you have experience of practical work in the health and welfare sector?

Then the Master Programmes Health and Society and PHOENIX Erasmus Mundus Dynamics of Health and Welfare are designed to offer new knowledge and skills. Past students have applied for a variety of reasons.

When working in the field some have discovered that health is not just a medical problem and have thus felt a need to put their work into a wider societal context, helping them to do a better job. Others have applied for the programme as they aim at a national or international academic or professional career within the health and welfare sector. Significantly, common to most students is a “humanitarian” motive and a wish to “make a difference”.

Our students come from all over the world. We also have international exchanges of students and teachers with partners within and outside Europe. This creates opportunities to increase the knowledge and understanding of different cultural contexts.

In addition, PHOENIX Erasmus Mundus Dynamics of Health and Welfare has the status of an Erasmus Mundus Programme, which means that its academic qualities and values for future careers are formally recognised.
